Henri Valachman (1925 – 2020)
Henri Valachman was born in Paris in 1925 – he studied at the Ecole des Metiers d’Art in the Rue du Louvre in Paris. He demonstrated that simple things can be extraordinary – nature, and objects around him were his reference. He expressed that by styling them with a luminous personal chromatic touch.
He had annual exhibitions at Albon, Ballancourt, Bures sur Yvette, Clichy sous Bois, Epinay sur orge, Salon Violet, Salon des Artistes Francais, etc etcSolo exhibitions were held at Chilly Mazarin, Carnac, Galerie Art World. His work was sold by major galleries including by Galerie Thuillier, Galerie Everarts, Galerie Art Present, Mouvance de l’Art (New York), Salon Des Artistes Europeens 2000, Galerie EOLIA, Salon de Prestige European (New Jersey).
